Some of the highlights of achievements of our NSS Volunteers
- Harshada Sonawane was awarded State level ‘Anutai Wagh Samajik Bandhilki Purskar’.(2015-16)
- Pankaj Chavan won 1st prize in the Elocution Competition in ‘Road Safety Programme’ and was awarded two-wheeler (2015-16)
- Mr Amitesh Tamhane represented Thane district in state level youth parliament at Pune, and selected to represent the state of Maharashtra as delegate at national level youth parliament at Delhi (2018-19)
- Mr Kastubh Malap(SYBA) selected and participated in State Republic Day(SRD)at Shivaji Park , Mumbai.(2019-20)
- Mr Deepak Wadekar represented University of Mumbai and won gold medal in theme dance and bronze medal in street play at state level cultural camp of NSS- Utkarsh (2019-20)

NSS Junior College
Junior college N.S.S. Committee has conducted following activities in the academic year 2016-17:
- In the month of August NSS volunteers help the Sobati Institute by selling the Rakhis made by blind
and disabled students on the occasion of Rakhi Pornima.
- On 22nd August NSS committee has organised Drawing and Essay writing competition as a part
of ‘Dengue Awareness Drive.’
- On 18th Sept 2016, NSS volunteers attended Nisarg Mela at Manpada Nisarg Parichay Kendra,
Thane organised by Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal.
- On the same day Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal has organised various competitions
in which our NSS students participated and won the prizes.

In Nature Photography our college got 1st prize,in Quiz competition 2nd prize and in
Street Play competition Commerce students got 2nd prize and Arts students got 3rd prize.
- All this competitions are based on environmental protection and awareness theme.
Students also presented Power Point Presentation.
- On 2nd Oct 2016,20 NSS volunteers went to ‘Nisarg Mela’ held at Manpada ,Thane.On the occasion of Education Day on 11th Nov 2016 we have organised rally to celebrate Birth Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
